Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a lethal disease caused by the dreaded pathogen, human virus (HIV). Fortunately, antiretroviral therapy (ART) distinctly reduces plasma viral load from blood and thus mitigates HIV-associated morbidity mortality. Further, ART also markedly risk of HIV transmission to sexual partners infants. Consequently, has converted infection into manageable chronic condition, with expectation life approaching that for people without HIV. However, lack adherence treatment results in development drug resistance as well quickens development. Therefore, conditions encourage should be maximized before after commencement therapy. Adverse effects, abuse, depression, socioeconomic status, low level literacy, less social support, interruptible access medications are some reasons poor adherence.
